GO BACKJunior French: Harry Potter
Rendez-vous sur le quai 9 ¾. On this camp, you will learn the magic of talented wizards. Come with us and explore Hogwarts, meet Harry and his friends, defeat Voldemort and win the tournament trophy.
Activities
- Awesome language workshops: you will be divided into small groups depending on your language level and learn about various themes, such as La ville, A table, Qui suis-je etc. You will have so much fun with your new friends that you will hardly realise that everything is in French.
- Chanter! Sing French songs together!
- Crea-atelier: arts and crafts, film-making, cooking, etc.
- Exciting big games in beautiful surroundings.
- The camp also includes a fun excursion!
Language immersion
Here you get the opportunity to experience everything in French, in a relaxed and accessible manner. The coaches always speak French, but explain everything very clearly so that you can definitely understand them. You’ll soon see that you can understand much more than you think.
If you haven't learned any French at school yet, pas de problème! In fact, we work on the assumption that you need to learn the basics. To help you, there is a bilingual moment every day, when camp leaders will give you an extra explanation in Dutch, so that you understand everything completely.
You are allowed to talk in Dutch with your friends, but we encourage you to speak as much French as possible, as this is the best way to learn a lot in a short time!
Discovery – partial immersion
At these camps for beginners, you are still allowed to speak in your mother tongue with other participants. The group leaders will use the target language (e.g. French during a French camp) throughout the camp, while helping you to learn as many new words and sentences as possible. To make sure that everyone can follow along easily, each day features a ‘bilingual moment’, when the activities will be explained in both the target language and your mother tongue. During playful language workshops, you will be divided into small groups according to your level. The focus on language continues throughout the other activities as well, however. As your knowledge of the target language grows, we will increasingly challenge you to speak the target language, thus ensuring that you will learn how to express yourself more confidently by the end of the week.

Coach transport
Coach transport is not included in the basic price and amounts to 70 euros (return).
Lieu
We will stay in Flône Abbey in the province of Liège. The village of Flône is on the banks of the River Meuse, and is surrounded by beautiful greenery. The abbey itself boasts lots of outdoor sports facilities.
