Vivre ensemble

Live as a god in France. You will stay in the stunning Bourgogne region, in a charming gîte. The group is pretty small, so there is lots of room for your own input. There's plenty to do: let off steam on the sports field, take a refreshing dive into the river or get creative in the kitchen!

Activities

• You stay in a charming gîte in the heart of the Bourgogne region. The river flows literally under the gîte, and you can leave from there in a kayak. You go out and explore the region in a small group – all done in French, naturellement. 
• The daily language workshops take place in small groups. They are not school lessons, but sessions in which you actively work on your French with people of your own age, at the same level as you.

Excursions

• Experience a day full of adventure in Vézelay or Avallon, among the plus beaux villages de France.
• Discover hidden corners of the medieval town of Troyes

Experience Camps – full immersion

A language is only truly learnt by experiencing it. This is the approach that anchors our Experience Camps. There is less of a focus on language workshops. Instead, we will refine your proficiency through a variety of activities in the target language.  Led by our group leaders, you will be holding debates, exploring a city, learning a new (adventurous) sport, or letting your creative side go wild – all in the target language. This also means that it is important that participants already have a basic knowledge of the language. We expect you to be able to understand simple conversations and instructions without much effort and to talk about day-to-day topics (talking about yourself, expressing your feelings, asking simple questions). Although these camps feature fewer (or no) language workshops, our group leaders remain focused on helping you to improve your skills and express yourself better in the target language.

Coach transport

Coach transport is not included in the basic price and amounts to 160 euros (return).

Location

In Lézinnes, you will stay in an old windmill built on a river. And we mean that literally: the river flows under the gîte, as you'll be able to see through a glass panel in the floor! Bring your swimming stuff with you for a refreshing dive or a trip on a kayak. You can also relax in the surrounding greenery, and there is a tennis court and basketball court too. You will sleep in a small dorm.
