Discover France differently: freedom, adventure and language
If you are between 17 and 23 years old and are too old to join a classic Roeland camp, but you want to improve your French in a fun and intense way, then this camp is perfect for you! Over the course of five days, you will discover a region of France in a small group, experiencing culture, the local cuisine and fun moments. It’s the perfect opportunity to practice your French, meet new people, and experience “la douce France” in an original and active way. Each day is designed to mix exploration, activities, and language learning, in an engaging and friendly environment.
Practice your French every day
For the duration of the camp, only French is spoken. The coach will offer relaxing activities suitable for the group but will also allow time for you to explore the surroundings on your own.
- Specific moments are dedicated to language practice, helping you improve your French, expand your vocabulary, and gain confidence.
- This flexible approach combines learning and fun, in a less structured setting than a classic camp, where personal and shared experiences are prioritised.
- To fully enjoy this camp, you need to have a good level of French and be strongly motivated to improve your language skills.
An adventure on the road, something different every day
An experienced coach accompanies a small group of 7 to 8 enthusiastic young people in a minibus. Each day, you will explore a different town, village, park, or nature reserve, discovering varied landscapes and unique experiences.
● Every evening, you will stay in a different, sometimes even unusual, place to extend the adventure and feel the excitement of discovery.
● Meal breaks take place in bistros, cafés, or cozy restaurants, allowing you to taste local specialties and share authentic moments with the group.
The group is intentionally limited to 8 people per minibus, ensuring a friendly atmosphere, freedom in movement, and personalised attention from the coach.
Experience CampFull immersion
You learn a language by experiencing it and that is the approach used at our experiences camps. Here, the focus is less on language workshops and more on learning the language by speaking it at all times. Under the guidance of our camp coaches, you will debate, explore a city, learn a new (adventurous) sport or let your creativity run wild, all in the target language. Participants should have a good grasp of the basics of the language.
We expect you to be able to understand simple conversations and instructions without much effort and to talk about simple topics (talk about yourself, express your feelings, ask simple questions). Although there are fewer or no language workshops at these camps, our camp coaches will of course continue to help you become increasingly fluent in the target language.

Surprise and freedom: let yourself be guided… or not
Each itinerary has a “code name” so that the destination remains a secret until departure. Shortly before the trip, you can choose to discover the destination or let yourself be surprised, keeping the magic of the adventure.
- All meals are included, except for one meal at a traditional restaurant, the cost of which must be paid by each participant, allowing you to fully enjoy the local specialties.
- This unique camp offers the perfect mix of autonomy, discovery, and encounters for an intense experience of France, far from classic tourist routes.
