British Fun

Get to know the British way of life at a real private school in beautiful Kent. It's the perfect combination of crazy themed days, sports, language and creative workshops, excursions and relaxation! And you'll explore London, Canterbury and the seaside town of Whitstable!

Activities

  • An exciting programme with lots of great activities and themed days. This is a random selection of examples from recent years: Murder Mystery, Rockstars & Paparazzi, Hunger Games, The Bachelorette, Sutton Olympics…
  • For the language workshops, you will be divided into small groups according to your level.
  • A wide choice of workshops, e.g. dance, arts, crazy sports, drama, crafts and chill, web comics, the Mole, Generation A-Z…

Excursions

You will explore London in small groups, and everyone will get to have their say about the programme: will it be a walk to see the tourist attractions, a boat trip, a visit to the British Museum, a café in Camden Town or some shopping?

You'll also visit the picturesque coastal town of Whitstable for a seaside stroll (and possibly a dip in the sea), and historic Canterbury. You might want to go punting on the Great Stour river?

Roeland classic – full immersion

This is Roeland’s well-known formula for success: during the camp, both you and the camp coaches will speak only the target language. The team is made up of native speakers and/or speakers who have a very good command of the language. They will help you express yourself fluently in the target language. Mistakes are allowed, as long as you have made an effort, of course! During the camp, you will follow language workshops in small groups and according to your level. This classic formula is the best way to make a lot of progress and have fun while you’re learning. By the time the camp ends, you will even be dreaming in the target language!

Unsure whether this is the right camp for you? Contact us at info@roeland.be or call us on +32 (0)9 221 60 44.
